the Coonawarra region within South Australia's Limestone Coast is renowned for its fine wine.

The Limestone Coast enjoys a solid reputation for the production of some of Australia's greatest red wines.

Although The Coonawarra has become synonymous with Cabernet Sauvignon the region produces quality reds from Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Merlot grapes. White grape varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Semillon.
